First off I'll tell you a little about my journey into martial arts. Back when I was a young man and I started training in karate (around the age of 11), I was an odd young man and I loved looking up and starting to learn things that would help me in stuff I wanted to do. SO with the help of my parents I gathered a dozen books on basic sport massage, designed to improve blood flow, recovery and flexibility.
As I grew older and my interest started to push more strongly towards the "women folk" I started to be less clinical and mathematical about massage, it was no longer JUST a thing for beneficial gains, but it could now be a way to pleasures untold, and I fell in love with giving young women massages. A combination of practise and books on the subject, along with a little trial and error, put me on the road to being what I am now, a flaming massage whore, who adores giving massages to any girl who falls under my fingers.
Now I would like to look at what a good massage is, and that really, really does depend on allot of thing.
What you wanna do with your massage is an important determination, as I said my first experience was a very methodical scientific one, and it was really an approach based upon gaining benefit for my martial arts and for that sort of martial arts you really want to follow certain methodical patterns of massage to gain the best physical benefits.
However after I learnt that I began to learn about massaging women for the pleasure of it, and not just my pleasure at running my hands over their bodies, which was no small amount of pleasure, but for their pleasure as well.
When it comes to massaging for pleasure the person doing the massage can often get swept up in showing off that they can massage and this is a serious mistake, because allot of the more skilled and interesting seeming massage methods are not the best way to pleasure the person you're pushing your hands to. The key is to focus on the feel of the person, to feel how they react and to listen to what they say and the sounds they make, react to them and to do anything and everything you can with a focus on pleasing the person below you, and if you're like me you can get your pleasure from their reactions.
You really need to ask a woman or any massage partner what they want first, some girls hate firm or deep massages and find them painful, others love it to be as deep and hard as possible... some like a slow gentle rhythm others like it quick and rough... in this sense it's exactly like sex, if you don't listen to the girl she's never gonna want you to do it again.
But that can't be all there is too it, I hear you cry, surely there must be some tricks or words of advice you can give us, or perhaps we can laugh at and ignore as rubbish. Well yes I am going to give a little advice next on individual things about massages and also a few hand methods and movements.
When it comes to massage, especially massage for pleasure but in truth massage for anything there are a few things that will really, really help you. One of them is a basic understanding of the muscular anatomy of whatever you are massaging, I can't teach you that in text so I recommend buying a book *wink*.
However one thing I can say is that if you run across tendon points or push down hard over thin tissue bone sections it can be painful, and so it's best to go slow over these areas and see the reaction of your "victim."
It's also really advantageous to run your fingers in like with the muscle fibres if you want to push the massage deep.
As you massage it's also best to avoid going over the spine, this area has allot of nerves and very little flesh over the bone, many people dislike having it massaged, but again some are different, pay attention to your partner.
When it comes to hand positions;
The four fingers together and the thumb out to the side is pretty basic for a hand position but it does well, allows allot of flexibility in the motions and the speed and force of movements. The basic use of this hand position is to press with the fingers in circles, or use constant pressure with the fingers and press and circle with the thumb(s).
Another basic but good position is with the palm heel of the hand (the section from the wrist to the level of the thumb) pressing into the person being massaged, this is pretty good for a wide spread massage, and can put allot of pressure into larger muscle groups but is a bit inaccurate for small muscle groups. The basic movement with this position is like kneeing bread, you push your heel palms into the back then roll down onto the wrist and raise the hands up then repeat.
A slightly more advanced hand position is up on the second knuckles of the hand (gorilla like hand position) this pushes down deep and has some flexibility in the movements used, but it can be painful for sensitive girls because you are pushing your knuckles into them.
