I work out at night and there are always very few people there. Its a small gym but the 24 hour access is super handy and at such a late hour the maximum people I have worked out with were.. five at the time, maybe. tonight there was three of us. Now I do understand that you don't want to intrude on someones zone or personal space, but is a smile to hard to do? Eye contact? These are social niceties I exchange with people everywhere! Grocery stores, libraries, you name it. And not a flirting kind either! Not even trying for conversation. But when you spend an hour in a room with 3 other people (the kind of room where you cross paths often but still maintain personal bubbles), walking about, getting water, cleaning machines, why do your damndest to avoid eye contact? I swear, I'm not flirting! I'm just trying to be polite to the person I'm smelling the BO of! Like for frick sakes.
Bah. I don't know. Guess I'm just kinda lost in this new realm of 'Gym Membership' and have no one to show me the ropes. Apparently its not the same as when I get groceries...
ps: Writing this, I realize I owe readers (whomever you are, dun dun dun) an update on my life since 'the Breakdown' blog.. I better get on that huh..
