The meeting is at 11:30, okay, time to get to work. Finish up a few e-mails, schedule meetings, find meeting rooms, play tech support, play ear for the complainers, get a laugh from the jokers, etc. The life of a secretary...fun. At least it's not, "Hey, can you get me a cup of coffee?" Yes, for the most part, they get their own coffee now. We secretaries pretty much run the show and make the big wigs look good. Everything is in order because of the secretary. We know everything.
He bangs on the bar (that's the counter in front of me), "11:30, come on in."
He stands at the door as I walk in with my pen and pad, closes the door and then walks to his desk.
"I saw that you took off a few days last week when I was gone. Everyone was worried about you." he says.
"Well, I woke up with a stiff next last week. You know I don't live close and driving on the expressway is not good if you can't turn your head while driving." I reply back as I'm twirling my pen in my hand.
He gets up, walks up behind me and pulls the other chair behind me. He starts to move my hair to one side and slowly traces his finger along my skin from my ear, down my neck to my shoulders then lightly kisses the curve on my neck.
Chills go down my spine and I lean forward in my seat and turn to him, "What are you doing?"
"I've been waiting to do that since you first started working here. Didn't you like how that felt?" he says with a smirk.
Truthfully, it did feel really nice. The tingles I felt were "good" tingles and I didn't want him to stop. It's was a long time since I felt like that; able to get a reaction from a man.
"Well, you're married and I'm dating someone. That doesn't bother you?" I say as I lift my left brow.
"Why? Does it bother you?" he pulls back.
Okay, not that I'm not the most exclusive dater but I have slept with other guys while I had boyfriends. I wish they could understand that. But the fact that there's a chance the rest of the office might find out, to risky.
"Yes, it does." I say but it really doesn't. Everyone thinks I'm a loyal woman to my boyfriend is much more saintly than I am.
"Well, if it you ever change your mind, I'll be here." he whispers in my ear as he massages my shoulders.
"Oh look, it's lunch time. I have to go meet up with everyone downstairs." I get up and thank him for the massage. Before I walk out, I ask him, "What makes you think I'll change my mind?"
"Because when you look at me there's longing for something, I can't quite figure it out but hopefully you'll let me.. Plus, you don't give everyone that but I know there's something in you and I want to find out what it is." as he sits back at his desk and slowly turns the mouse wheel as if he's scrolling down whatever document is on the computer. Scrolling for what? I have no clue because I could feel his eyes on me as I opened the door and walked out
Yes, it's only the beginning.
To be continued...
