Christmas was low key for me. I just spent time with my family and that's what makes me happy during the holidays. My sisters and I traded presents and I'm glad I was able to bring a smile to their faces because I'm one to usually make my gifts and this one was "brilliant" LOL I say brilliant because I was hoping it would be done by the time it was time to exchange. But my one sister loved what I did and I'm so thankful that it came out exactly how I envisioned it. Of course, there was a little improvising here and there but those who are crafty know that improvising is when the best work comes out Other than that, we were constantly on the phone talking with our relatives who are out of state/country. Laughing through the phone still gets me. I love it. I know we have Facetime and all that other stuff but the phone is still my favorite because there is no "lag" unless you have a freakin' great connection but I digress. But I can still see/imagine everyone's facial expression because we simply just know. Predictable, yes. But it's just one of those things that you pick up when you grow up with everyone. The reaction to a comment, not predictable but the laughter and subtle voice inflections, you know what they look like. Best camera ever...your memory And now I'm blabbering...
So, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and getting ready for the new year. I know I'm a little excited for the new year. I hope you all have a prosperous new year. Be safe and I'll be seeing those of you who log in beforehand but if not...HAPPY NEW YEAR MY SF FRIENDS
