Talk about Formula 1 Racing here!

The racing season started at the end of March and it saw many changes. One make of tires to be used across all the teams... No 7 time winner michael schumacher gracing the grid any more. Two-time champ Alonso switching teams to go from Renault to McLaren. Raikkonen moving and hoping to become Ferrari's new golden boy.... and most noticeably we have a new kid on the block who has made quite an impression, rookie racer Lewis Hamilton has come in for podium finishes in both of the races that have already been this season... third place in Melbourne and second in Malaysia quite an impressive start to say the least.
I would really like to see Hamilton at the end of the season with at least one race win under his belt.. he comes across as fearless calm cool and in control.
Well i got the thread started (chapter4 ) now all you SFers can contribute to it all you want.

Also he was heavily under pressure by massa in the second ferrari early on, now hamilton with the slower car, and heavier fuel load struggled to keep him behind, but he didnt err, and at one point massa the experienced F1 pro went off the track in a bit to outmanouver him, hamilton showed experience and wisdon beyond his years, icy calm under pressure, a true joy to behold. I think mclaren are going to have an amazing season and fair play to them, they have probably the two brightest stars of F1 at the moment, the only thing that might letthem down is they are struggling to beat the ferrari in terms of pace, they were on the back foot at this race and it was only because they manaaged to get in front and ruin ferraris race that they won, I am sure we will see both ferrari drivers being more aggressive at the start and not letting slip positions. and if they hold them back at the start, as proved on sunday they will struggle with the ferraris being quicker..
just something to look out for next weekend..

I've noticed they seem to be playing more of the pit - driver conversations live now a days whats that all about, surely there must be some restrictions regarding team tactics etc... (I heard them telling alonso after he had won that he was llive on telly..)

Button had a disasterous qualifying session and is way down on the grid didnt catch where he'll start though, sack me . And i think something happened to Coulthards gear box so he'll have to start at the back.

I watched the race and really enjoyed it but what was up with Alonso?! There was a slight murmur going round where i was that holding raikkonen off and pushing him back could be tactical but purely in favour of Hamilton but i laughed at it, of course not, seriously? would you think alonso would do that for his team mate and not to mention for the driver supposedly 'under' him... hes a two time champ, he isnt going to do that! something was up with the car for sure and the race just didnt seem to go his way at all.
Lewis, well what can i say, i just really dont know what to say lol. 3 races, 3 podium finishes. He cut down Massa's 10? second lead to a mere 2 seconds .
Jenson Button and Scott Speed were out on the first lap. David coulthard was flying, digging deep and having a fantastic race but he had to retire with 20 laps to go i felt sorry for him he was pushing himself through the pack after starting up at the back. Davidson in the super aguri honda almost caused hamilton some trouble as lewis was behind him when davidson's engine started spewing out oil but it was alright and Mr hamilton bought himself home in 2nd to share the podium with the two ferrari's.
Alonso, Hamilton and Raikkonen all share 22 points at the top of the drivers championship its looking to be an interesting season, although i hate to say it i cant help but think that the experience both alonso and raikkonen have will mean that Hamilton will 'lose' out in the end, but when you think about it what is hamilton actually losing? hes winning (well not quite finishing first.. yet;)), hes gaining some of the most valuable skills and experiencing what any driver would dream to have a chance at having.
Anyway roll on spain i say.

Don't know who said it but somebody compared Hamilton in F1 to Tiger Woods in golf, and I can see it, he's the most successful rookie already so great things could definitely come.
