I was reading an article in which some women complain that cum smells like Clorox Bleach! I've never heard anyone say that about sperm before - I've only heard or read comments on the taste of sperm and what types of foods a man should eat to have sweeter tasting sperm. Clorox Bleach has a pretty strong smell to it - how is it that a number of women say cum smells like bleach? Is there something wrong with the man? What types of food or liquids could cause that?

It has never even crossed my mind to even smell cum. But if my cum smelled like bleach I'm sure I would have noticed it by now. Rotting alpha sprouts?!? Are you kidding me? In the same article in which I read a number of women complained that sperm smelled like bleach but there was another group of ladies who thought cum smelled like pan cake batter and tasted great. Does anyone have any ideas on the cause of the various odors of sperm that the women talk about in the article?

I had a bunch of crazy female housemates, when I was in my 20's. They're the ones that noticed. I think that that was when we were sprouting our own, but not responsible enough to always keep them fresh.....

Yeah we're talking about the smell of cum. In the article I read multiple women didn't like blow jobs or shit like that because of the smell of cum. A majority of those women who that problem said it was because of the way sperm smelled - which most agreed said it smelled like Clorox bleach. I have never heard anyone speaking up and say sperm had any odor yet alone such an overwhelming odor like Clorox bleach. I want to know if other women feel the same way and if so does anyone know if it's a dietary thing and if it is does anyone know how to correct this. That's all I was talking about.

I have read similar accounts with the bleech odor. My take is that it in actuality it has it's own odor that many women relate bleech as the closest odor to solidify description.
