about people posting their nude pictures

why do people post their breasts, vagina and penis on a website...
i mean.."completely nude pictures"...not just a sexy outfit.... because, well, .. i dont get it....no disrespect
probably because of my personality...i am socially reserved, introvert..
i dont like, or i should say "hate" exposing myself / expressiing my thoughts...
why man put their dicks on a website...because you feel proud ? or you would like to arouse tthe ladies?
i mean...i guess i understand more with ladies putting their pics up here...maybe girls like to be pretty..
maybe they like other guys complimenting their physical appearance....
but still...i dont reaally understand ..

I think people post these nude pictures (and pictures of any kind), because they don't fully realize the implications of it. The moment it is on the net, anyone can copy and use it. Even if one changes one's mind, the pics are there, copied and pasted. One day, one's children may see it, and the children going to the same school as one's children...
I'll give a very personal example: I've been abused. I'd hate to know one of the people who's abused me has gotten a pic of me to masturbate to. I couldn't possibly keep living with that knowledge.

Would sexforums be as much fun if people didn't post nude pics?

As for those that do it, I find them brave for doing it really. It's their choice to do it and who are we to judge them on it? If they don't mind that their pictures are on the net, why should we?
Besides, one of the first reasons I got here just was to find some pictures and such. However, after a few days I gained more interrested in the other features the forum had to offer instead and rarely travel down to the picture section. Whatever reasons they have to post, why judge them on it? It's pretty much the same like, commenting on a band of which you hate their music on youtube, or any other forum, and leaving bad comments. If you don't like it; don't go there. I for one am glad those people are there and support them for whichever reason they are posting. As mentioned above, it's all about freedom. Be glad we have the option to post, or not to post and not have it forced on us.

that was always my rule. sure, people may have saved my pics etc. but there isn't really a way of connecting them to who i actually am. i posted a shitload of pics... i think i ended up having more than 300ish. not one of these showed my face. i'm not condemning anyone who chooses to post their face, because all the power to them really, but it is possible to post nude pics on the internet and not have it be that risky, if you worry about that sort of thing.

I rarely post or look at posted photos here; I prefer the forums. I enjoy the discussions, the debates, the advice and opinions given. It's as if there were no photos, in my mind.
I understand Alien2's position: we have control over who we share our bodies with; we surrender that control when we post media on an open site such as this. That is very appealing to certain people - for revenge, voyeurism, 'forbidden fruit', whatever reason. For me, I am not interested in receiving anything that is not given with a person's knowledge and consent. There are websites that promote hidden-camera sex; casting couch sex (she auditions for a non-existent movie role by having sex with the 'producer') BangBus sex (offering a woman a ride or money for sex, then dumping her by the side of the road with nothing), and so on. Basic sex scenes are given a jolt by claiming to have a 'reality' back story, but it's all in the mind of the viewer. Call it kinky sex, rough sex or misogynistic payback sex, but it doesn't thrill me.
As for Hunterr1976's claim that a

I'm not naive when it comes to what people can do with my pics but Im comfortable with what I have put out there so far.

i guess with people compliment about you did give you a boost for self-esteem.
I agree with you about the internet, people can be a little different online from in real life.

I have to admit I have some feelings of...nervousness?..not really nervous but..suspicion..after having posted all these pictures/videos of me and all my "stuff" available for viewing on the internet. I think it would be pretty difficult for anyone to figure me out though, I try and hide more identifiable objects and my face for this reason.

maybe it is just me...i think women should not expose their nude body like that online, even though the pictures are non-identifiable...i am old -schooled ...
i am sorry to hear .....it must have been horrifiying..
