I know this probably isnt the most premiere spot to ask for advice like this but I will try anyway. I am 20 years old and I am just having the worst worst worst luck trying to find a girl that wants to take the time to get to know me and see where things could possibly lead. I am jw if there are any ladies or I guess even men that can help me with my problem. PS I want a good hearted girl with values not some whore at the club or something.

Well for starters avoid the clubs and bars, sure you may meet a girl who is there on a one time occasion to hang out with "her girls", but that's usually rare. Have you tried online dating? Maybe sign up and practice there by striking up conversations to build some confidence with girls who seem to fit your needs. Remember, there are millions of girls walking around right now wishing they had someone too so no excuses that there isn't somebody you can't meet. Make yourself interesting to the girls you meet, but don't be an open book or a pushover. Find out your hobbies that are group related and go do those too. Some of my hobbies are basketball, nature photography and going to the public library so I meet new people everyday.

You want a good hearted girl with values, yet you are posting in a sex forum with a photo of your penis as your avatar? There's many a "whore" with a good heart and values... but what you are actually saying is you want a girl who has the values you deem appropriate. Even though the qualities and values you desire are not ones you are choosing to live by, yourself.

The type of girl you are after is not found in a site like this, you will find her doing charity work, through family friends, within your church group... but as you are clearly hypocritical, you may have trouble finding one who is acceptable to you who will also accept YOU.

That's what I was thinking. The dick avatar sends a wonderful message. Being athiest, I'd say screw the church crap, but evening classes, the gym, coed team sports, the grocery store...any contacts through work, etc.

excuse me for some avatar I posted what 2 years or maybe 1 year ago.... I dont see how an avatar deems me as a person, I thought this site was full of non judgemental people... This is a sex site thanks I realize this I am not 12..... So hence that profile picture.... If I have to take down a profile pic to get a real answer then excuse me. For the people who gave actual advice I have tried online dating and I personally dont know any new sites to try. All the sites I have tried seem to be filled with extremely judgemental and shallow people. That is not exactly what I am searching for. Church functions dont happen really at least in my age range. They are all for the older people in the church no "Teen" things or college student things I should say. I love football and sports in general but I dont know exactly how that could help me find someone out there. And before you put labels on me because of a pic I suggest you look around at a load of people on here.. I am not the only person here with a pic of that. I thought people older and wiser would have a bit more understanding but apparently that is a lost art. Does anyone else have any other suggestions of like I said dating sites? I have tried Pof and Okcupid so if that helps narrow down your list. and honestly I dont know if I want to PAY for a site when the results arent even close to guaranteed going off my bad experiences on the prior sites listed

First off, the world is judgemental, at least to some extent. I find any of the nudity on avatars tasteless, not just yours. I feel it shows despiration, but I'm old and married.

The churches around here are always having functions for all ages. I met my wife at a church picnic...and I was a freshman in college and she was a HS senior. Almost every Parks and Recs department in every city has coed softball, volleyball, etc. For most, a woman isn't going to drop in your lap. Apparently I was a rare case where I got picked up all of the time. I was married a long time before internet sites were even developed so I beleive in face to face meetings. Go jog in the park. I've had women hit on me while riding the Katy bike trail. Skiing is a great way to find women. Scope out a hot snow bunny, if you're luck she'll take an easy tumble and you can slide in to the rescue...if not time it on the lift or ski past her backwards and just start taking. The ice rink is a good place, if they are struggling, you help them out, if not show a little skill and offer a little help to improve her skating or talk about anything.

Coed sports as a poster above already mentioned. You must have other hobbies that could be group related as well, if not I would find some new things to do. It will help you meet new people and also become more interesting to women. Most girls will find you boring if you don't have other things to do and want to be around them all of the time.

no offense but sadly I live in an area where there really just honestly isnt a whole lot to do. I have really exhausted it. Michigan is not a very eventful area much less the area I am in. The co-ed leagues for softball dont quite exist now due to it being winter unfortunately as well. And I love sports if I knew of something going on I would be there in a heartbeat, annd as far as the skiing and skating goes I really never learned how to so I feel like I would make an idiot out of myself more than help them out sadly

Then why dont you look out of the area? And I hope you arent this hostile with the women you are trying to date. That might explain why you dont have one. I dont understand why you call women to go to bars of clubs whores. Are they not allowed to dance and have fun? Your posts are full of excuses for why you can't find a girl. Nothing is guaranteed you just need to go out and look instead of sitting at home hoping a dating site is going to do all the work. If you want a woman be willing to travel to her. Look for women in the largest city close to you if you haven't. What exactly is so shallow and judgmental about the people you are getting responses from?

And in the end you are only 20. You are still really young the world wont end if you dont get a girlfriend. Take it as slow as it needs to be taken and stop feeling like you have to do this now.

I would imagine Michigan has many more things to do compared to where I live in Kentucky.

ehhhh the biggest city near me is Detroit if you havent been there then you really woulnt know what I mean. And why do I call girls out at the clubs whores? because I have had 3 gf's that I have met at clubs and they all ended up sleeping around and my friends have had the same experiences, so you go with what your past experiences are, I am not making excuses either. I am simply stating the facts.

So I guess coed hockey is out too. How can you live in the north and not ski or skate? The only ones I know in Michigan that can't are transplants from Missouri....and with 21 rinks in the St Louis area...no excuse. What about roller rinks. If things are thata slim, think about moving. Tons of stuff to do and places to meet women in Missouri.

And I've been to Detroit several times...it's a pit.

I moved to Michigan for parents work out from San Diego California when I was 16 lol hence the never really learning how to skate thing, always wanted to but never really had anyone to go with for lessons. I dont really like being a loner lmfao. If I could move I would in a heartbeat I am not financially stable tho to move into an actual house with my income much less out of state quite yet. I have a job and its practically just paying for classes and my gas and my occasional luxury expenses. Really dont have that liberty quite yet sadly. I mean I guess I can wait till summer for co-ed baseball or w/e but was really looking for something now.

I would focus on yourself and find some hobbies, everything else will fall into place as long as you get yourself out there. As you said you're not financially stable which may run into some problems with the ladies if you want to go do things.

Surfing is very similar to snow boarding. I was going to try my surfboard on the snow, but we didn't get enough here LOL. I get to surf one week a year when we go to our condo in Florida. I taught myself to skate way back, then I started my kids when they were..well son was 18 months, daughter was 3, they just competed in a AA hockey tournament. Spring sports will start in a month, month and a half.

I've got friends in Jackson, Lansing, and Detroit, don't worry, they'll be starting up. It's been a very warm winter for us. Today was 65. We've spent most of the winter at or well above average and a total of 5 inches of snow that didn't last two days. We usually ski and snowboard down our back yard and use the quad to get everyone back up....not this winter. Hell, Texas got more snow than we did. Golf practice starts for my son next week, lacrosse the week after.
