Doesn't sound like 'blue balls' - I reckon that's one for a qualified doctor to answer.

Seriously though, if its a reoccurring thing maybe the doctor should be involved.

I have a similar problem and with a physical exam my Doctor told me not to worry. Then about a month latter the occasional pain turned into a constant dull ache with an occasional sharp shooting pain; so I went back to the Doctor. She ordered an Ultra -Sound which uncovered a mass in my right testicle and a smaller one in the left testicle. The masses where undetectable by a normal testicle exam. It proved not to be cancerous, but she and my urologist decided that I should have an Ultra-Sound every 6 months for now. I would recommend you get a second opinion from a urologist. It may be as easy as a recurring infection of the epidymis or the vas deferens. Good luck; I hope you uncover the source of the pain.
