Delegates at DNC got bull dozed...

The Democratic party took out all references to God in particular (although had plenty of verbage acknowledging faith as a role in people's lives...so it's not like they're trying to "dis" religion) as well as removed their position that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.
Obviously this had negative reverberations with Jewish groups and Christian democrats, and they had a "voice vote" at the DNC on bringing the removed verbage back to how it was in 2008...
In order for the verbage to be changed back to 2008, a 2/3 vote in the affirmative was required. It sounds to me like at least half of the delegates said no to changing it back...but I'm curious what mainstreet Dem voters' take is. Listen to this, and chime in if you think there really was a 2/3 majority that wanted these changes taken back....I personally think this decision was made before they took this vote...I believe it was just a dog and pony show, and lots of dems got railroaded by on this, and a major reason I don't like the 2 mega-party system...
Doesn't it sound pretty evenly split, there? Or no?
