Lifting heavy weights for noobs, lol

Does anyone on here know the best way to go about this? The lifting weights/strengthening thing, not the classes.
Also, if anyone has any diet tips, that would be great. I wanted to try a modded Paleo diet.

In terms of diet, its harder I believe for a woman to ingest less calories, but certainly up the protein, lower the carb intake and keep the metabolism up with smaller meals more frequently

For abs crunch and similar is ok, but in this case diet is 80% of the work to have fit and carved abs.

In squats, for instance, you need to position your back correctly, and go down really deep.

Something else i would recommend is taking a boxing class. Boxing skipping alone can make your legs and ass tighten and tone like nothing else.
Last but not least, i am a big advocate of cross fit. It is a very good way to get every part of your body to where you want it, check to see if a gym near you has crossfit classes.
Hope you found this helpful. Also I do some PT work so if you would like to ask anything let me know.
