Is Having A Personal Sexual Fantasy Cheating?

I have never told him about it because it's a bit like keeping a diary. Its the one thing that is personal to me that I do not wish to share with anybody. I sometimes blush at the thought of it and often enter into a world of fantasising about the deed while masturbating.
If I do not share my thoughts with my SO...am I cheating on him?

Is there any emotional or physical attachment with someone during cybersex? This surely is only a non-physical fantasy involving two minds.

If it involves the meeting of two minds, by default, there is an emotional connection, even if it is only an itinerant or tenuous one.

But my fantasy has an emotional connection and as it is recurrent. It is probably more than just itinerant sometimes and more gratifying to be merely tenuous.

Not to another human being. At least, not a real one. A "connection" requires an exchange and you can't form an exchange with a fantastical character.

I am just curious to know if members here write what they think others want to read. With the number of requests I get to cyber on here it seems odd that if the majority see it as cheating (in certain circumstances). Also, that those that ask to cyber do not have the courage of their convictions and argue in favour of cybering because they see it as harmless fun.
Perhaps, I don't know what cybering really is. It just seems a little silly to me to simulate sex. But maybe there is more to it? I honestly do not know.
But then, my private thoughts with my mystery man...there's some steamy things going on there. I just think that eventually even my private thoughts will eventually be considered cheating, because they might intrude on an otherwise happy marriage. Victorian England was probably the most amoral of societies with married men buying houses for their mistresses. But as long as society didn't know the wives were accepting of it all. However, today that would be cheating because women have a say in matters. How times have changed!
