prostate massage questions

I'm a cheapskate , so I never bought a prostate massage dildo. However, since I discovered anal/prostate stimulation I have "experimented" with all of our sex toys.
Until my wife came around, I was on my own too. I didn't bother her about it, but continued to enjoy on my own.
Anything that could reach and gently press or rub on your prostate could work, but you have to find the one that does the trick for you. After trying all types, I settled on a big dildo, shaped like a cock. The tapered head of the silicone cock easily slips into my ass and graduates in size. Besides being able to reach my prostate with the head of it, the anal stimulation from the head popping in and out of my ass and the bumps and ridges on the shaft take it to another level.
The healthy aspects of prostate stimulation turned my wife around. On the other side of the coin, my wife was happy to fuck my ass with a dildo, than to have anything done to her. She loves to fuck my ass with dildos and make me cum all over myself. I hope you are lucky enough to get your wife to turn around on the topic also.
Back to the topic. The head of the dildo will rub on my prostate perfectly. I can milk myself, give myself prostate orgasms that are out of this world, and when she does it to me I get to lay back and drift away in the feelings and sensations.

The Bad Boy, Rude Boy, Naughty Boy vibes are a step up in that they have vibration function and you can use them in the shower. These are similar probes, but differ in the amount of "ribbing" and bulges. The criticism I have is that the neck is too small (stem that connects inside part from outside vibrator control) and it is too easy for these to be expelled, and they may not fit comfortably. These toys are also rather expensive. Unfortunately, all guys are built a bit different and what fits well for one may not work for another, so you may have to try a few toys to find the perfect one.
One toy I tried recently, and which was featured in a Miss C blog (I think I got that right) is the Vibrating Glo Pop Plug. This is a small vibrator that has a round ball head attached to a small flexible stem with an internal vibrator. It is made of soft silicone rubber and is rather comfortable. It can fall out, but generally fits well for novices. the vibrations are reasonable and for a guy they will stimulate the prostate. They are not too expensive, but the batteries (disk style Li cell watch batteries) typically wear out after two or three uses, and these are a bit expensive to replace. I would recommend this vibrator in spite of the limited battery life.
Then there are a whole array of butt plugs, anal dildos, and prostate massagers. The key thing is to be sure the "stem" as I mentioned above, is long enough to allow the internal bulb or vibe portion to freely move around while keeping the base secure. Please see my blog about "Safety and Sex, Beyond Safe Sex" on sex toys. Always follow the rule "if you put it in, make sure you can get it out!" You don't want any unplanned trips to the ER.
