It's not a lie. A lot of guys I've been with weren't that attractive. It kinda sucks... but I can deal.

And then women say stuff like this to make you feel better. Truth is, their level of unattractive means that he is a 7 instead of a 10, which most normal people would never be able to attain.

Doing sports (a new hobby) or shopping for groceries (a new lifestyle) in order to lose that weigh will make you attractive.

Why does it sound like a true story that happened very close to you, eh?
You know, just because a woman rejects a man for his looks and she hooks up with a handsome jerk, doesn't mean that all the good guys will have the same fate.
Maybe what we think of ourselves is not the truth. Maybe women see something worrying beyond the skin. Like hidden bitterness and anger, maybe...
Just a thought.

According to this you don't sound like a good just. Just a self-deprecating one who is bitter. Just cause you lose weight doesn't mean women will suddenly start flocking to you. I dated one asshole in my life and I'll never do it again. I have a very nice guy right now and i wouldn't trade him for anyone. You need to change the inside before you start worrying about the outside.

Just a thought.
And what do you propose I do about that?
