go and FIND yourself some adventure, don't fall into the trap of thinking that it will find you.
if you think you spend too much time on the net, you probably do. cut down and use some of that time on doing other things you enjoy.
also, this might be a bit radical, but i say stop watching tv - it's sooooooo boring and it takes up so much time that would be better spent having fun.

Not only is TV boring, but it sucks your mind and spirit right out of your body.
Life does NOT suck. Life is beautiful. When you think your life sucks, you should think of the rest of the world that don't have tv or internet or even a roof over their head.
1. If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep, you are richer than seventy five percent of the people in the world.
2. If you can attend a church or synagogue meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death you are more blessed than three billion people in the world.
3. If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation, you are more blessed than five hundred million people in the world.
4. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet and spare change in a dish, you are among the top eight percent of the world's wealthy.
5. If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.
I saw you need to ditch the negative attitude and MAKE your life a happier, more interesting time. Dig a garden. Learn an instrument. Make a piece of art. Explore your sexuality. Volunteer. Play a sport. Play with your kids if you have any. Become more in tune with the universe. Take a hike. Fly a kite. Fix something. Call your mother, she misses you. Clean out your hall closet. Jack off. Learn a new recipe. Make some new friends. Rearrange your living room. DO SOMETHING!

Trust me a positive attitude makes a huge difference in how you view life in general.

My mission in life: "My mission is to kill time, and time´s to kill me in its turn."
My theory of life: "Life creates itself in delirium and is undone in ennui."
How is such a stupid thing possible?: "Life is possible only by the deficiencies of our imagination and memory."
So what are we going to do with this shit?: "I´m simply an accident. Why take it all so seriously?"
-Bold parts in quotations marks are taken from the work of Emile M. Cioran.-

I personally have found that in order to avoid boredom, you must be preocupied with activity.
A while back, I tore my rotator cuff, couldn't play music and could have given up altogether. I told myself the following: I MUST wake up every morning, listen to, study (theory, composition, improvisation ect) and teach music and make a difference in young people's lives, then I'll be okay. You know what, I'm fine! I have since learned that one must have a direction in order to avoid complacency and boredom. The intrensic value of the steps along the journey down the direction/path, even if one of those steps is boredom or complacency, FAR outweigh instant gratification that will help me feel better now for a short period of time. All of the activity is enough fodder for a decent life.
Sex, money and material will NOT cure boredom, activity and direction will! Maybe my case is different, maybe I'm insane. Maybe it's because I have no sex drive, and I get pleasure from other things, but somebody else's company will NOT occupy me. Now if I worked a traditional job, 9-5 working for some big corporation, then my life would be boring.

i'm tired of people telling me to change it blah blah blah.
I don't understand how i am suppose to just miraculously change everything wrong in my life overnight.
wish it worked that way.

I can honestly say from being a negative person in the past to being 100% positive that my life has done a 180 and I'm happier than I've been in years and only getting happier..I've got the job that works for me and pays well enough, I've got a nice place that I love (even though I rent oh well) and now I may have met the guy that just makes my head spin..so yeah if I was sitting here feeling sorry for myself none of this good stuff would of happened, it didn't start to happen till "I made" it happen and put myself out there and started only thinking of the positives!
