If not, hard to go wrong with the classics:
- shopping spree (clothes)
- experiences (travel, dining)
- gifts for her hobby (needlepoint, photography, etc.)
- electronic toys - if she likes that (ipod, MP3, netbook, etc)

I think he wants to give her "bedroom pictures" of himself in his underwear/naked/whatever - not ask her to do it for him. They can do pictures of men (for their wives) with the man wearing a fireman's uniform, a chef's hat and apron, etc. - creative little scenes that are essentially like pornography, but they're typically a lot less lewd and meant for a SO.
If that's the case, OP, I think it's a great idea. I think she'll be surprised and excited to receive your pictures as a gift. I would be excited and turned on if Mr._C. did this as a gift for me. It's a creative idea - not a lot of people do this (or at least they don't talk about it, I guess). It's personal and will be a gift that shows your love for her and how much she arouses you.
I've thought about doing this for Mr._C. at some point in the future - once we've been married and are celebrating a higher anniversary (maybe 10-15 years), once we've had children, later on when it seems like we've done it all and the spark can begin to fade. I doubt this is something Mr._C. would do for me because he's pretty shy. He has only sent me two pictures of his cock (via text message) in the whole time we've been together (almost four years now).

Its amazing having it done, so what happens is, you go for the shoot, there is a hairdresser and makeup artist available and you take along some clothes/underwear that you'd like to be shot in.
They pamper you before hand, you get champagne etc and you are dressed and styled for the shoot.
You are then taken onto the set and "Arranged" into set poses by the photographer (usually female) they run off some shots, show you how good you look and when you feel comfortable with it, they will then let you do your own thing while they continuosly shoot you.
Its a lovely experience and for any woman that has body hangups, well its amazing to see yourself shot with professional lighting, in the poses that make you look your absolute best and to be honest, when i had mine done, I wanted the photos up everywhere so everyone could see them. My photographer friend made me look and feel a million dollars and seeing yourself looking so good in images, is quite a turn on as well as something lovely to have forever.
I'll post one of mine here, its my favorite one. People think that its tits out etc porn style photography but in reality, its beautiful.
I'd say your wife would love the whole experience.
hope you like the image.
(i'll remove it shortly as my friend owns the copyright although is happy for me to show, however i'm sure she'd not want the image thats on display in her studio on a sex forum for any length of time but I want you to see what they do for you

would be wonderful if it was him having the shoot to present her with the pics though as well.

I think the part I liked the most was not knowing the photog brough out things in me most photos do not capture. Maybe it was the setting (the Inn is amazing) or maybe it was that the photog was someone I didn't know, whatever the reason I really liked the results and so did hubby.

Well, it's a nice idea in theory. Honestly, only you would know whether or not she'd like to do something like this. She may end up being offended or put off by the idea of taking her clothes off in front of a stranger (the photographer) and the fact that you want her to do that. On the other hand, she might really like the idea of being pampered all day and being made to feel sexy. Only you can know her personality and whether or not this is something she'd want to do.
I would describe it to her the way Duchess described it in this thread. Duchess made it sound really nice.

Hi - I've done a few portfolios for friends. The shoots weren't boudoir-type set ups - we worked around different locations from derelict buildings to remote beaches, the street and, in one case, at work. The pics ranged from portraiture, through documentary to nudes and we all agreed at the outset that no sexually explicit pics would be done - not least for the sake of my own sanity:)
Maybe the advantage of boudoir set-ups is the security of the environment: a conscientious photographer will probably invite you along - but may not want you watching the shoot. On the other hand, a less structured, more free-ranging project presents creative surprises and a little spontaneity can go a long way.
I think each of my friends got something different out of the experience but all had a strong sense of self-investigation. All of them, as you put it, look great the way they are and didn't worry about conforming to some sort of stereotype. And, yes, I think it was an empowering, affirmative experience for them. Only you know if your wife would be freaked out by such an undertaking but, if she's happy, it ought to be a fascinating thing to do.

But it wasn't inexpensive, so I never did it. Damn.
