Hi. I was just wondering, how I would go about starting my own transformation (MTF) from the medical aspects? Must I be a certian age? Will the hormones affect my brain negatively? Will I have to get any sort of paperwork done? Does health insurance (in Canada) cover the cost of hormone treatment, or do I have to pay for it out of my pocket?

I've already done so. The last thing I was told was, "This is something that you really want, so I would recommend that you proceed. Come back and see me after about six months of hormone treatment." She never gave me any info about actually starting the treatment...

When I started taking hormones I had some pretty odd mood swings but they didnt last to long and eventlly they stopped. But I don't know much about canada though.
