Do you think cheaters should confess? What about third parties who may be aware of the cheating event...

I was thinking recently about a girl i dated and the fact we had mutual friends... say that she cheated on me and she has not yet told me the people she cheated on me with... and say i run into the guy(s) that she cheated on me with, and they don't say anything, that's lame isnt it?
It has been over ten years and i am NOT interested in the ex girl friend any more as far as intimate romantic relations, however we could be friends maybe on levels however i would want full disclosure on anything she did to me that was wrong(such as cheating) as i would do to her.
Forgiveness and clearing the air....

I agree. Cheating is the ultimate betrayal in a relationship. I have never cheated and (as far as I know) I have never been cheated on... If, however, someone cheated on me I really hope they would tell me. ( Preferably as quick as possible ) It is not black and white though... In some cases I can see why someone would cheat on their partner and not tell. Like if for some reason their partner couldn`t or wouldn`t give them sex.
Don`t misunderstand, I hate the idea of cheating, but there can be extenuating circumstances. Not all cheating is done purely without regard for the partner, I think.

on a side note; i dont understand the guys that are like "yeah she left you for me" well she was still screwing some other dude, pretty much in front of your face.
