returning to action...need opinions from ladies

I am looking for suggestions from the ladies on a favorite position, experience, or fantasy you have had or want to have. We often discuss thing before hand, but I want to really give her something special and keep this a secret.

I'd treat her to a wonderful meal out, a few drinks etc instead of planning something new sexually. I think it may be a little bit too soon or a bit misguided, women can have body/confidence issues etc after giving birth so she may prefer to take it slowly the first time until she's sure it won't hurt etc.
talk to her first

I have a couple of thoughts for you. First about my own experience having sex after our own kids were born. The worst bouts were when she had episiotomies. That was twice. The one time she didn't she was up to playing alot sooner. But there is another factor at play here. She is a mother of a new baby and she will be very distracted. It is not unusual for mothers of newborns to appear to be more interested in what is laying in the next room than the guy laying between her legs. Be patient. Beyond her vagina being torn up there is the issue of the responsibility of motherhood that is weighing on her. Add to that the fact that even after two months her hormones might still be screwed up. I repeat: patience, patience, patience and after that be even more patient.
The other thing I would add is my own experience after open heart surgery. When my doc gave me permission to have sex, his advice was to use my head. As result I gave myself to her and she was emminently gentle and slow as to not tax me. It was not searing sex but it was tender and wonderful.
The moral of the story is be patient and use your head. Keep in mind that this woman has been thru alot and needs you to be nurturing, understanding and loving. The sex will come if you do that.
