The GTR I was looking at was on sale for $81K....but you can't get goalie bags in the back.
And as a driving enthusist, I don't believe luxury cars are a waste, unless it has a Cadilac emblem.
Goalie bags eh? I think that explains a few things! hehehehehehe

yes but having 20k would enable you to afford the payments.

it would make a downpayment but making payments is easy on a car, its the upkeep annually that isn't.
If I had a Masserati (sp), then the annual service would be £5K in British money, so your $20k wouldn't last too long.

No offence meant....my brother is a goalie and I bug him about "marching to a different beat" as it seem that they do!!

What's left I'd use to get the parts from other cars I'd need as it's a one off and as far as I'm aware no one's built one yet like what I have in mind.

I must second some of the comments already posted: $20,000 goes fast. I spent $13,000 in the last four months, and the biggest expense was a second-hand car for my daughter, and the insurance. Then, add up the 2500 miles in a rental car, the gasoline, the dinners, the motels (not 5-star luxury spots), and $20K loses it K pretty quick!
