Viagra/Cialis - anyone tried both?

In the past, I have purchased Viagra from an online pharmacy, for confidentiality reasons, and I bought the large dose pills because the pricing is better. I tried taking a full pill once and found that I got way to flushed and didn't like the way it made me feel, so, from then on, I always split the pills in half which made each half a "typical" dose. It worked really. However, Viagra has a relatively short period of full effectiveness - about 4 hours. Being married, with 2 kids and plenty of distractions, sometimes an expected "pleasure session" didn't work out as planned and I basically wasted a pill. I would have to check but I believe the pills were 100mg and the "normal dose" for most men is 50mg, hence half the pill.
I've been thinking about giving Cialis a try because it goes to work a little faster but is supposed to last quite a bit longer in your system as well. I guess that's why it was dubbed the "weekend pill" when it first came out. I see that Cialis is sold in 5mg, 10mg, and 20mg doses and that the "normal" or "typical" dose for men is the 10mg dose. I'd rather buy the size that I can just grab and pop without having to split pills but I also don't want to have to take 2 to get what I need out of them.
So, I'm just wondering if anyone has tried both and/or switched from one or the other and what you found worked best for you, dosage-wise, with one vs. the other. In other words, does 50mg Viagra seem to equate to 10mg Cialis? It's still more economical to buy the largest dose and split them up if needed but it's kind of a pain to deal with that.
Also, if you have any experiences to share on effectiveness of one vs. the other, and things like that, I'd be interested to hear.
I'm a healthy guy and don't have any of the "red-flag" symptoms or conditions related to taking these drugs. I typically don't need them to obtain an erection but sometimes need them to maintain one for as long as I'd like (and she would like).

I've tried different doses, and am currently on the 20mg size, but I will occasionally cut a pill in half also. I have no ill effects from Cialis, and like you've already said, the effectiveness does seem to last for 36 hours or more. Unfortunately for me it can take up to 12 hours to become affective, so a little planning is important. PM me if you'd like anymore info.

The part of getting it lined up with your mate is really important...or it becomes wasted. 100 mg is for a guy with a strong level of ED and is just too ballistic for a healthy guy.
I think the big 3 work about the same with Cialis lasting a little longer and Levitra a little bit hohum.
I think (just my opinion) , as long as you are a healthy guy, start off with Natrol L-Arginine 3000 mg (practically no side effects and a low sexual impact energy booster) about an hour before and add 25 mg 20 minutes before of either Cialis or Viagra. L Arginine is a very mild natural product that helps the body produce NITRIC OXIDE, necessary for erections and sexual performance. The two prescription drugs help create NITRIC OXIDE also, but help seal the valves in the penis better than normally. Probably not a good idea to make either a habit...maybe extra foreplay or a different technique might help you achieve what you are looking for in between those times. Do not use alcohol with any of these..EDOPHOLETEUS
