badboy posted this thread in our Physical Health forum, but I think it's important to have this information immediately available in all three of our health forums. I added some information as well.
As this site continues to grow daily more and more people from all walks of life come here for not only knowledge but also for help. I'm not a expert on abuse, Nor am I a doctor in anyway, So I wont give options or opinions from my point of view. All I really wanted to say is that there is help out there. And places to turn when you need to. Even if its just to talk about the situation. Below I will list a site that I felt had some really good info, As well as phone numbers for both the U.S. as well as several other countries. This site is a non-profit org. And does not charge for advice...

Edit: I think this is very helpful information, badboy. Thank you for posting this thread. I wanted to help by adding a few more links to sites for victims of rape to find help and for people who feel desperate and may be having suicidal thoughts to find help. I also have another site that can help victims of abuse.
RAINN (Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network)
http://www.rainn.org/get-help
National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
http://www.suicidepr...lp/Default.aspx
The Hotline
http://www.thehotline.org/get-help/
-Services include crisis intervention, providing domestic violence resources, assistance in English and Spanish (as well as over 170 other languages), and providing information about sexual assault.
-This site also has a unique safety feature called the Quick Escape button. This can be used if a person is looking for help on this site but is afraid of being discovered looking for help. The person can just click on the Quick Escape button, which is located on every page on the site, and the button will immediately take the person away from the site.
