I enjoy anal play. Have had one guy take me anally and regularly use toys. There is one thing bothering me and it's probably very silly but I gotta ask.
I heard a long time ago that anal sex will eventually leave you incontinent and unable to control bowel movements. This is something that I really don't want to happen (obviously). Anyone have thoughts or experience on this. I'm a pretty informed guy but this is one of those niggling hangups that has been sown into my brain. My ass hole isn't too tight to begin with, I never have much trouble getting in
I feel really stupid asking this but it's having an adverse effect on my anal play enjoyment and I'd really like to have my mind set at ease. Anyone any comments?

It's something to tell people to try and turn them away from doing things like that because the people who came up with the myth think that whatever sexual practise it is is "sick and wrong"

This is definitely what medicine suggests. Even though you think of "loosening" up to get things in the truth is it takes quite a bit of muscle control to allow something in and also to kind of squeeze on it at the same time. Like all muscles, the more you work it the stronger it gets. There may be a sense of elasticity in the lining that could potentially weaken but since incontinence etc is controlled by the muscles in the sphincter (which will be doing all the "heavy lifting.... sans fists"... lol) then you might actually be in better anal health later, especially with the stimulation to the prostate which is known to keep it healthy, just like satyrsam said. Sorry if my answer was just a mirror to that one However if you feel that maybe muscle tearing has happened then you can always get it checked by a doctor who could tell you if there is anything you can do to help prevent any more damage while still maintaining a hot and "down and dirty" sex life. (although i would say your ability to easily accommodate is probably related to your "willingness" not any loss of elasticity or strength. For many people anal sex is hard in the beginning not so much because of the physical mechanics of it but because of the psychological. If someone isn't into it, it's going to be a lot harder to get "into it". lol

I'm guessing you have logs about the same size as the average cock and you're just fine anyway right?
The loose anus thing is a myth. And a stupid one at that.
