So I haven't slept in 42hrs, this may seem obscene to some but a reality for me. For as long as I can remember I have had bouts of insomnia. It's lasted anywhere from a couple days to a week. I have tried everything anyone's ever suggested, sleeping pills, melanoma, warm milk, sleep routine, soothing music, ect. ect. ect., and a couple that I made up myself when I was younger (copious amounts of booze and/or drugs). I have found that unless you've experienced it, its impossible to understand. I can't explain how my vision gets clouded or my body vibrates, or that when I close my eyes to try and sleep I can still see everything. It will pass, it always does, but because my thoughts don't translate well to my writing, I'm sure this will end up being convoluted. Anyone else experience this, love to hear any new ways of coping.
