When the time is right for you, your body sends a signal from your pituitarygland in your brain to your body for puberty to begin. During puberty, yourbody is going to change a lot and in very different ways. Some noticeable, others not so much. Girls attain adult height and reproductive maturity about 4years after the first physical changes of puberty appear. In contrast, boysaccelerate more slowly but continue to grow for about 6 years after the firstvisible pubertal changes. Puberty begins at around 47 kg for girls and 55 kgfor boys give or take a few.
Your probably thinking to yourself, whatis puberty and how will it affect me or change me? You can find a answer tothese questions depending on your sex below.
Below is a guide to the world of Puberty.
The first bit of our guide to the world of Puberty is for the boys but it canalso be a interesting read for the girls if they are interested in knowing thechanges during puberty that occurs to the boys.
Pubescentboys during puberty change a lot. There are times where they might havefeelings that they don’t fit in. During puberty in boys, there is a big rate ofdevelopment, sometimes more then girls. Two pubescent boys can look verydifferent from one another both physically and mentally. For example, one mayhave lots of body hair, be tall, look like they are older then their years andhave a very deep voice while one of his peers may be short, little or no bodyhair, still look young and have a child like voice. This may change duringtheir teen years or early adulteress but you may still ask, why and how do boyschange into young adults so they become men? The simple answer lies in theunderstanding of hormones and Even in the womb, a male fetus contains smallamounts of the "male" hormone—testosterone.
Puberty will normally start in boys between the ages of 11 and 15 and normallyend between 15 and 18 but may differ depending on the boy.
Most likely, you understand what puberty is, after reading the above definitionand example but are still wondering, whatexactly will happen to my body and to myself during these times? Thefollowing are stuff that you will or may experience in puberty.
During a boy’s puberty, one’s male sex gland (also known as testicles by thegeneral population of the world) will grow bigger over time and as they grow, the sex gland or testicles will hand lower “down there” and become morenoticeable in the scrotum than they were before, as in, you can see them more,or through your pants/shorts they will be. This is why, many people say thatfamous line boy's balls will drop, but really they have already been there andin the boy’s scrotums, long before puberty even hit him.
One’s male penis (You only got one haha) will grow larger and both his penisand his scrotum will appear and get slightly redder/darker. One sex gland (akatesticle) will most likely hang lower than the other to prevent collision withthe other sex gland for reasons due to the fact, it wouldn’t be nice for bothyou and the sex glands, There is no set one on what sex gland (aka testicle)hangs lower and it may change during a boy’s puberty session.
Because of puberty and its time frame, the boy’s penis size depends on how farthe boy is into puberty. It would not be uncommon for a 13-14 year old boy whohasn't started puberty to have a 3 inch penis, and it would not be uncommon fora 15 year old boy who is far along in puberty to have a 6-7 inch penis. Theaverage adult size is 6 and a half to seven inches. Bigger sizes and smallermay differ by the boy, many may have bigger, many may have small and some mayjust have average size.
Because of puberty, a boy’s body will start producing more sex hormones, sothey have more sexual feelings and more erection and a possible sex drive.Erections (Boners or whatever you choose to call it) may and can appear whenthey're not even turned on (aroused) and sometimes at the most awkward momentsand just about anywhere at any time. A boy may feel embarrassed, but it’s anatural part of life, and most times, no one will notice, unless you happen tobe naked, or someone happens to be looking at your crotch area at that point intime. Erections will always go down, aka your penis will shrink and go back tonormal size as the blood pours out of your penis and back into other areas. Ifit doesn’t after a period of say, a hour, you should seek medical help.
An erection is a hardening of the penis that occurs when sponge-like tissueinside the penis fills up with blood. Usually, an erection causes the penis toenlarge and stand away from the body.
During puberty, boys begin to experience erections (Boners or hardons) morethen before they started puberty. A erection is the hardening of a penis (Akait gets hard to the touch and you can feel it through your pants) due tosponge-like tissue inside the penis fills up with blood.. Erections occur whenboys think about sexual things or they can even occur for no reason at all dueto the general nature or they are thinking about sexual things in the back oftheir mind or see a hot girl or a hot guy…/.
Boys also may experience something called nocturnal emissions (also known aswet dreams for the lessees scientific people.). Wet dreams occur when the boy’spenis becoming erect when he is sleeping and he ejaculates in his sleep, Wetdreams are sexual dreams. A ejaculation is when fluid comes out of the penis(the fluid contains sperm). After a wet dream, you or your underwear may be alittle wet when you wake up or you may wake up when you ejaculate due to thestimulus on your body Wet dreams will happen less often as boys moves throughpuberty and they eventually stop or they may not for quite some time afterpuberty.
During Puberty, a boy will develop hair around his penis, on his scrotum andaround it, under his armpits, and start to grow facial hair. Your body willalso start to fill out and to start to shape during puberty. His shoulders willgrow wider and his body will become more muscular in most cases except for rareones.
During one’s girl puberty same as boys, their skin may get oilier and mostchances is pimples will usually start showing up when puberty begins due to thesexual nature of puberty and the other changes of puberty and also because ofmore hormones and oil glands that become more active during puberty,. Pimplesare not caused by chocolate as many quack doctors like to claim, they arecaused by hormones. Some of the locations you may see pimples bloom on are:general area around your face (most times your cheeks, noses, sides of yourfaces, and forehead), your upper back , or your upper chest. You may not getthem on your upper chest and upper back, it all depends on what happens. Everypuberty is different. Acne and pimples leave scares and cuts of squeezed, picked or popped and could lead to serious infections and even death. Pleasecontact your local doctor, pharmacist or a dermatologist (a doctor that treatsskin problems) on ways to clear up acne and pimples. There are many goodtreatments that can completely rid you of these nasties if the cream is appliedas prescribed nightly. A plus side of this, is it only happens once in yourlife time and they wont continue to pop up throughout the course of youradulthood even through one or two might remain with you.
Also during puberty, some boys (once again, not all) will experience mild tosevere swelling underneath their nipples which could look like your growingbreasts! Don’t freak out or panic or rush to your doctor, this is onlytemporary and its happening because your body is changing so fast duringpuberty. Its not possible to grow breasts during puberty normally except inEXTREMELY-EXTREMELY rare cases
And one of the last major changes during puberty is the changing of the boy’svoice. The voice will start to sound lower and less child high pitched. .Thetone might wobble, crackle or be difficult to control at first, but overtimeduring puberty, you will grasp it to talk normal after speaking. There is nolessons involved, its just something you grow out of.
