In this blog entry, I will try to explain our position on fake profiles and web content uploads in general.
As we pointed out in SF Rules Section 6, Sexforums.com is an adult web community focused on real people with their private accounts. In such community there is no room for so called "posers", people who come to SF to create fake profiles, usually with photos of attractive ladies found elsewhere on the internet. Owners of those profiles are trying to mislead or exploit our users, misrepresenting themselves as someone else, which can result in all sorts of personal, emotional or even financial grief and damage. With that in mind, we want to do our best to protect our users and remove all fake profiles from Sexforums.
But at the same time, this does not mean we are trying to limit our members to uploading only their own personal photos or videos. As long as all other standard Rules are followed (Sections 1,2,3,5 and elsewhere), we do NOT mind if users post adult web content here on SF, if they are not pretending or insinuating, in description or comments, that the photos are showing themselves.
So for example, let's say we have a photo of an attractive woman which meets all standard rules about model age, niche, public domain etc. And let's say we have a user who uploads this photo (to his gallery, or as attachment to one of his forum posts) along with comments like "What do you think of me/ do you like my outfit/ would you like to meet me" or anything similar to that effect. We would consider him to be a poser, with the intention to create a fake profile. Such photo would be deleted, and the user would be warned and possibly banned from the site, as detailed above in our Rules.
However, if a user uploads this same photo with comments like "Isn't she beautiful/ check out my favorite fantasy/ does anyone know who this model is" etc. we would consider this to be a usual, acceptable post that requires no special action from our moderating team.
So we are perfectly fine with users who are sharing adult web content with the rest of the SF community, as long as all rules are followed, and there is no intention to misrepresent yourself and deceive other members.
SF community members can help us to identify and remove all fake profiles from our site. There is a "Report this!" button under the bottom right of every gallery photo, as well as "Report" button at the bottom left of every forum post. Click on those buttons to send us reports about any photos or post that you believe are violating our policies, and we will inspect them in a timely manner, and act accordingly.
If there are any comments or questions about this policy, or any other issues on SF, feel free to message me at any time.
Have a nice and sexy day!
