You support your families, you love your children. You help your sons grow into men, and show your daughters how a man should treat them.
You work hard for kids, yet the most precious gifts you give to them is your love and time.
My son lost his Dad when he was nine years old. There is much he has missed. The months after he father died I would see the hurt and pain in his face. My little boy wore that pain on his sleeve, and still does. Yet he is still his father's son. Loving, loyal, kind, and generous. These are qualities that Dads pass to their children.
My son at fourteen was watching TV. He spoke aloud and I heard it from the kitchen. He said, "Dumbass! Any idiot can father a child, but it takes a man to be a father!" Yeah...his Dad did his job.
To all of you wonderful men that are fathers, bless you all. You are the true role models, you are the real heroes!
Happy Fathers Day!
