You hit the nail right on the head. We can all either be our own worst enemy or our best friends. It's all in how you view yourself, others and the world.
If you tell yourself that you can't do something (which most people tend to do), then you are right. If you tell yourself that you can do something (which most people don't do), then you are right again.
The trick to it all is to learn to be honest with yourself. If you can't be truly honest and real with yourself, then there is no way that you are going to be honest and real with others.

The difficultly is putting it into practice in real life.
