1. AIDs is a disease that attacks the immune system. It is spread from infected parties to non infected parties through body fluids such as semen, vaginal secretions and blood. Google the disease and read some facts about it. It is an important thing to know about concidering that disease is everywhere these days. The best thing you can do is to use protection always or get tested with your partner and make sure you are exclusive.
2. Ovulating and having your period are two different things. There are certain times of the month that are optimum for getting pregnant. A TAMPON IS NOT A FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL. The period is when you shed the lining of your uterus to prepare you for the next cycle. There is still a small chance to get pregnant when she is on her period though. Doing it without protection when she's on her period is not a good form of birth control either.
My suggestion to you is to read about sex and STDs online before you continue to do anything. To be safer, you need this information.
