Well if you were you probably attended a Rememberance Day parade.Marching through you're local town centre with the members of Legion,veterans and the like then the church service.
It was the ultimate in institutional conservatism,certainly the very last thing you could ever possibly imagine it being was contraversial !!!
Yet nowadays its a hot topic from the stand off between the pm and fifa,muslim groups burning poppies and the white poppy movement to talk of people feeling pressured into wearing a poppy by the expectations of society.
Well this still a free country if you dont believe in remembering the fallen then its your right to choose not to wear a poppy.
Its everybodies right to demonstrate against things that they feel strongly about and I truly believe that but some advice,don't burn a poppy in front of me.........
