Go, or No? SO out of town...

My SO and I planned with them for them to come over this weekend for hottubbing and swapping, but my SO got called out of town for a work emergency. The other couple still wants to come over, even suggesting bringing a female friend to make up for the lack of my SO. Her hubby is definitely capable of pleasing all of us, and what guy would not want the attention!
The SO in question seemed just a little bit jealous when I told him about this, not a good jealous, but through text you cant really tell...
To make matters worse, I asked my good friend for advice and she even was begging to join in the fun...
I talked to the couple, and they suggested we go through and make it up to my SO by doing the same thing for him soon but they don't play separately so it kind of diminishes the fantasy for my SO.
The other couple and us had planned and planned for this, I would feel kind of bad to bail (I hate that when it happens to us), but I don't want to upset my SO...
Should I go through with it? Would you?
Thanks in advance,

My SO and I play separate. Our jobs take us out of town frequently. It is fun for us to have these separate adventures, dare each other to do crazy things and write each other in detail about it. It is just this time that he was really really looking forward to meeting up with this couple.
ETA: Nice ring BTW!!!

Maybe because this time he is not ok with it. Just because it's been done in the past doesn't make it ok unless you get a clear go ahead from your SO. There really is no question here. A SO will always come before a play partner. It's that attitude that is the only thing that can make that type of lifestyle possible.
