Friday 25 May........
Joe Bonamassa - Ballad of John Henry
Feel free to comment. Also feel free to tell me to f**k off with this notion
Oh and a boring technical bit........ Joe uses a baritinoe guitar on this track. He has it tuned so low!! I've tried it on a standard tuned PRS and the strings bounce off the neck. Boring........ I know but couldn't resist the temptation

I have a contribution myself. Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor and Carla Olson, a vastly underrated singer and guitarist performing a song by the Stones that Taylor wrote, but wasn't credited for - Sway.
It's always been one of my favorite Stones songs, and this live performance is just amazing.

Joe Bonamassa is an outstanding guitarist and put him with Beth Harts smoky, husky voice and you have something beautiful.

Hadn't heard this before the weekedn when a friend brought it to my attention. Not rock or blues but good, nonetheless.
Old Crow Medicine Show - Wagon Wheel
Glad you liked it! It is my two year old's favorite song; I have to listen to it often.

Gary Moore - Trouble at Home
Any excuse, to listen to the maestro
I do indeed. And it is a complete coincidence that today's selection was Gary Moore. I had posted the link before listening to your YT link. If you get a chance to watch the Thin Lizzy tribute in Dublin, take it. The whole gang - well at least the survivors - were there.
From my part of the world. And, I don't actually know this piece. Good on you!
