I think men should stop thinking that semen is nourishment of any sort. In fact, semen is mostly water with traces of nutrients, and would never ever cover the requirements of a pregnant woman. Ironically, what a pregnant woman needs is massive amounts of Omega-3 fatty acids to make the brain of the baby grow, and this can only be found in food, or she may have been lucky to keep some stored on her hips and thighs. She also needs relatively high amounts of folic acid, which is normally found in green leafs, some fruits and enriched grains. She needs a good multi-vitamin supplement and she needs to avoid stress.
I'm not sure is the high content of hormones in semen is actually a good thing during pregnancy; however, the minerals found in the semen may (big may) help reduce the effects of baby blues or post-partum depression. I figure is not really the semen though, but the sex that helps with the endorphins.

That was my first thought too.
Good to eat, or good inserted? The main reason it's advised that heavily pregnant women avoid sex is that the semen softens the cervix and aids in preparing it for dilation and birth. So if you're trying to bring on a labour it's great. Of course, in some people it's too early and in others it does jack shit. Babies come out when they are intended to.
It won't help with morning sickness, although it may be helpful in birth control if you try to get a woman with morning sickness to blow you, as she may just bite it off.
