is it just in the UK where schools dont want you taking your kids on holiday during term time and at the same time the travel agents and hioliday companies charge extortionate prices for a holiday during school holidays compared to during term time?
I have personally seen the same holiday doubled in price from 1 week to the next PURELY because the kids are of school.
the next point then is:
do we pay extra for the holidays and budget more, or
take kids out of school and pay less for the holiday allowing more cash for the kids and ourselves to do more during the holiday?
is it exploitation by the travel firms or just good business sense?
