Post up a hobby of yours and a lil somethin about it.
Anyways, my hobby of choice is car audio. But first let me say this, for us people who take it seriously, we are not the ones that jerry rig some setup with a million wire everywhere and it sounds like ass...we take pride in our work and love helping others out when they are stuck/need advice.
Ive heard quite a few myths floating around from people i know and online about car audio, so i thought id like to clear them up.
1......If your friend claims to hit 160 decibels, they are full of shit. That is VERY LOUD, and many installers and people who know what they are doing dont ever hit that number in their lifetime. And for the record, the loudest score ever was a 183.XX dB from a man named Alan Dante from Brazil.
2......Sound pressure level (SPL) is measured on a Term Lab in decibels (dB).....That is the most accurate tool for measuring how loud your vehicle gets. Every other instrument is flawed somehow, period...esp the $10 meter sticks you buy from wal mart LOL...
3......Windows very rarely ever break in this sport. Ive seen it a handful of times, but only on youtube. That takes an extreme amount of pressure to do this. If your friend has done it, I would know him.
but thats about all i will say as of now...but lets hear your hobbies

Other than that it's Graphic Design (which I'm majoring at school), Firearms (I am a definite gun nut, but I prefer "enthusiast") , and I don't know if it's a hobby per se, but I love to read books about Military History, specifically World War II, and Vietnam.

1) Martial Arts , I'm a 20 year vetran in Bushido (yes I used to wear the baggy dress looking pants) & am a certified swordsman . I no longer practice though due to tight finances , old age , & lack of time . I collect edged weapons , my house looks like an arsenal
2) Shooting Sports & Hunting . I love steel target pistol competition ! I hunt for food/meat , never for trophy or sport , to me that's a sin & a waste .
