Do you smoke

You should stop smoking. Yes, yes, yes... You've heard it all before: cancer, emphysema, heart disease, bad breath, skin damage, yellow teeth, yellow fingers, premature aging, etc. However, many people don't realize that smoking takes a toll on your sex life, too, and not simply because all of the above-listed reasons can make you unattractive. The French website e-Santé.fr has posted the results of a scientific survey that shows some very interesting results. The survey found that healthy, non-smoking heterosexual couples aged 24-36 years old have sex on average 12 times per month. Couples in which the man smokes 30 or more cigarettes a day have half as much sex: only 6 times per month. In the same survey, results indicate that smoking also has an effect on sexual satisfaction. Non-smoking heterosexual couples rated their sexual satisfaction at a 9 out of 10 while sexual satisfaction for heterosexual couples who smoke dropped the satisfaction rate to 5 out of 10. The survey found that smokers have half as much sex and are half as satisfied as their non-smoking counterparts. But that's not all.
The website also reveals some little-known facts about the effects of smoking on your penis. If you smoke, you have a smaller erection than a non-smoker would. Carbon monoxide from cigarette smoke narrows the arteries, thereby restricting the amount of oxygen delivered to the tissues. Consequently, a smoker's erection is less physically stimulating, and the amount of elastin (a protein that regulates tissue elasticity) in the penile tissues diminishes. What does this mean? Over time, the penis will not be able to realize its full erectile potential. In other words, if you can get it up, it may not reach its maximum size. The website likens the effect to that of a rubber band that has lost its ability to stretch and snap back. Sounds a little like an unfurled but empty condom. Not so hot.
So if you quit smoking, you'll have a bigger, harder dick! What are you waiting for?

Best rationalization I've ever heard, hands down.

I still think showers work better when you are angry, lol

My parents both smoked and I always hated it.
However I started drinking beer when I was not quite 20. Recently (several decades later) I lost my taste for beer and started drinking red wine. Go figure?!? But now 6 months later, I seem to be replacing the wine with weed.
No idea why, just following my instincts.

It's pretty much the same thing really. You still smoke a cigarette when you smoke a joint. The only difference between the two, is weed can make you suffer from mental episodes such as paranoia.

I agree about the paranoia...I tried a joint the other week and I was a mess...reminded me why I haven't touched the stuff in 11 years. But weed does have a lot less of the harmful chemicals that a cigarette has added to it.
