Year of Birth & Birthday Requirement
Posted Thu Oct 14, 2004 07:16 PM
The forum database was backed up today and will be compared to the forum database in a couple days. Anyone caught changing their birthday from being less than 18 years old to being over 18 years old will be moved to the teen forums until they can fax or email in proper identification.

IP addresses, if you have joined this site at any time your IP address is stored, Mike can then access a certain area and disable your account all together.
You are 18, and with that comes certain rules that Mike MUST follow, if you feel you are mature enough to enter the site then be mature enough to understand that he could face jail time for letting minors in.
I've let Mike know what I think of this site and I feel he's doing wonderfully well to get it back on track, because it IS a great site.
I just think that all the people that were running this site weren't fully aware of the dangers of letting under 18's in ... but now they seem too.
Well done Mike.

I hate to say this Altima, but you should personally care ... how would you feel if you lost the site?

thanks for the props.
i personally care about this forum and i am willing to be a part of the upgrade and continue to try and go by the wishes of the forum. mike is working real hard at this, i see he is logged in alot more now and is probably working on the site as i type this. it will just take a few days to edit the forums and everyones permissions. the very nature of the forum is a touchy one, you have to understand this and our growing pains.
please be patient, mike is working on makeing our(yours and mine) site better.

i do care, but if thats what the person wants, then thats what they do. All in all we jsut dont want o be held repsonsible, we did our part, so it shouldnt be a prob.
