She has to be the most important fixture in his life so she will be around and probably more as your future continues.
No one will expect you to love her, after all, its not easy to fall in love with someone or something if you dont have an initial connection.
Its a hard dilema but speaking from experience, I could never have had a relationship with someone that had children previously for the same reasons as you.
However, if it hadnt been for someone giving my mum the chance of a relationship with three children then i'd have missed out on the relationship I have with my stepdad of 25 years.
He loves us like his own and said it took a few years to realise that he loved us as part of the woman he loved.
We grew on him lol
Maybe she will grow on you if you give it a chance

Now, I'm a single mother... believe when I say I have no regrets whatsoever... My children have made me realize how rich my life is now, and how hollow it would've been without them; but then again, fair is fair, if I ever get in a relationship, they are not negotiable, and I would also accept a SO's children from previous relationships on the same basis. I guess, at the end, I've come to realize that men come and go, but my children are a part of me.
If you feel that way about children, I'd suggest that you don't get involved with men who have them, but be prepared for their comings and goings because relationships are hardly forever anymore. Then, I don't know how old you are at the moment, but with the years, I've put more value on loving friendships than love attachments, mostly because I don't feel the need of being the only and the most cherished person for somebody else... I suppose it's up to each one, but I just wanted to give you some food for thought.
