What is "it" that starts off harmlessly? Why are you texting these people at all?

They are usually close (non-sexual) friends and we'll be just chatting about random stuff and id say something like "my ribs are hurting from doing too many sit ups" and she'll probably reply "are you sure its not from doing too much of something else?!!" and it'll escallate from there! Has it never happened to you???

I don't have a lot of information about your situation, but it looks to me like some of your friends are jealous of your relationship and they found a way to work around it. And they found you willing.

You need to have a filter between what you think and what you allow to come out.

And that's really the question here. Why so much texting? Why would somebody tell somebody else by text that their ribs are hurting and stuff? Why wouldn't they use the same phone--the same phone right in their hand--to talk to that person?
Those are rhetorical questions, btw. I'm just a misfit, I guess.

Twittering is what mystifies me. We've we really become so contents starved that we care that XxtwilitefanxX just ate a donut?
It all makes me wonder just how far off we are from being able to just jack into a global neural network to know what everyone is doing 24/7.
