The nastiest thing you ever ate ?

In my case it would have to be dog meat casserole . We were having a retirement party at where I worked at the time & we held a potluck dinner for the occasion . Unknown to me , the lady from Vietnam had prepared a traditional dish which had dog cooked into it . As I polished off the 1st plate I saw a co-worker whispering in everyone's ear , she got to me & asked "Did you eat any of the casserole in the green glass dish" , I said yes & it was great ! That's when she told me what it was & my guts started doing flips . Until I heard what it was , I thought it was delicious , but I didnt go back for seconds . Strange how your like or dislike of food can be so strongly affected by perception huh ?

Moral: when in doubt, give it a quick smell.

After we all finished my mom leaned over to me and told me it was cows brains.
Gulp. I managed to keep it down but it was a challenge. LOL

To me the absolute worst thing I've ever tasted was warm milk -as in room temp. Add WHOLE milk to that combo and I'm, well, in the bathroom. Can NEVER get rid of that feeling in my mouth! And I LOVE milk, but room temp - nooooooo! Whole Milk? might as well give me spoiled milk.
Add to the warm whole milk the following: large curd regular (as in NOT non-fat) cottage cheese. Makes my eyes curdle.
Give me COLD skim milk and small curd non-fat cottage cheese, or starve me!
