Both have their merits, Chrome is very quick, I love the way the downloads go so quickly and onto a bottom bar rather than just into a folder that you've got to go search for later, the whole site is much quicker for me on chrome, I love their bookmark system too.
Opera I used when I accidently barred chrome once, I keep it as a back up however, on this site, opera won't let me use the IM bar effectively.
I really only use it occasionally now.
I wonder if it depends on what you are using computer wise, I'm using a netbook all the time now so perhaps thats why chrome suits me best, on my PC, I use IE all the time.

Its very very similar to chrome except it dont seem to make my computer run as hard when its in use, unlike Chrome. It has a sidebar which is a bit distracting..once I figure out how to get rid of that I think I might really like it, I used it for quite a while while sitting in LC and it didnt crash or make my firefox browser.. which was running my facebook and the main forums on SF..go unresponsive like chrome has been doing.

I will probably stay with IE ... I wish there was a coop provider.

Frankly, I'm still trying to find where things are on FF but it works. I still have problems with youtube and other streaming video, just at certain sites, no matter what browser I use. Switching from DSL to Cable helped but not 100%.
