Personally, I've had one or two good experiences from Craigslist... and also met two psycho girls, one of which is still stalking me. So it's kind of a Caveat Emptor situation.

I just recommend caution, because there's always that chance (no matter how small, there's always that risk, so I recommend taking precautions and at least doing a background check before going off to meet a person you've never met before), and trust me, stalkers aren't as fun as they sound... although in all fairness my stalker doesn't really pose a threat to me in any way, so really it doesn't bother me that much.

This is good advice. In today's world, you cannot be too careful. Caution, always.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand: if you're meeting someone, please be safe and make sure they are who they say they are.
