You can love someone and not have sex with them. You can also have sex with someone and not be in love with them.

often times the slang "lovin" is used as a non profane way to mention sex. if she said "no lovin' for you tonight" I would take that as you're not getting sex.
you could have a one way attraction to someone who loves you but not in a sexual way.

Just this morning in early dawn before the alarm went off, J and I were cuddling half awake. The feelings of deep adoration that I felt for her as we laid there together were incredibly profound. I couldn't have made love to her if I wanted to; I didn't as that would've meant that I would have had to let go of her.
Six years ago when I had open heart surgery ... post surgery as I lay there for 36 hours with tubes coming out of my chest, neck, penis and arm I couldn't move. But she sat next to me and held my hand ... the feelings of love I felt for her at that moment have yet to be equalled in the six years since. For 4 months after the surgery we were not allowed to have sex and again, my adoration for her was unabated the whole time.
Sex certainly ties you in a biological bond but there is a cerebral bond that does not require sex at all. Its a brain thing.
