I would imagine that you're right that most of those products are a load of crap and probably don't work.
But there's no reason I can think of why sexual stimulants would either have any effect at all on birth control or cause a yeast infection. What makes her think that either of those things is true? Was there some warning on the package of one of the products or something? I've never heard of anything like this happening/being true.

I cannot imagine a 9 hour erection. It hurts just to think about it. Anything over about 2 hours would bring me to the emergency room.

Although viagra does work, it can cause some side effects. These include asthma, heart palpitations, excessive warmth/heat in the body and dehydration with the most common being a banging headache. Some of these will put you off sex even though your boner won't go down!
Some of the common ingreidients in herbal viagra are gingko biloboa (for circulation improvement to hands feet and extremeties), ginseng (for vitality), saw palmetto (for prostate stimulation/health). All off these herbal ingreidients are safe but may interfere with prescribed medication.
I am on no regular medication other than an inhaler if I suffer with asthma breathing issues, none of the above caused issues except for actual viagra which I needed to use my inhaler regularly.
I say use the herbal versions over viagra, they are cheaper and can work as well without side effects. If the FDA approve a drug it does not mean it is safe, just look at the artifical sweetner aspartame or nutrasweet as it's more commonly know.
The only brand of herbal variant I can heavily recommend is called VigRX Plus. It's expensive at around £30 uk price for a month's supply, but it works very well. Not only erection improvements but sexual desire and feeling of confidence and well being.
On a final note, always make sure you take any supplement with water and some food to improve absorbtion. With fruit juice is fine, but avoid milk.

Exercise is also another good libido booster.
So whilst viagra and other similar supplements do not work, changing your ladies diet will!
Please stop painting the FDA in a positive light, they get paid to pass drugs not because they are good.
As already stated, drugs are deemed not fit for human consumption if they cause brain tumours in rats yet aspartame was approved! Only buy brands with sucralose as a sweetner!
You are right about Spanish Fly drops. Made from crushed beetles it stimulates or should I say irritates the urinary tract. Causes sensation down there, but not in a good way. Avoid like the plague!

There's something that disturbs me in terms of things like Viagra, Cialis, and various other similar meds... Is the fact that these are for men with erectile dysfunction, but it seems that it's everyone else is using them too... WHY? If your bits are in perfect working condition, there's no reason to be taking these things! They only cause problems and are fodder for amusing stories (one of which I was a part of)
I just don't get it.

Only down side with these ed supplements is that you can get hard many times and rapidly, but sensitivity is lost over later times meaning yes you can pound away more without coming but sometimes you will struggle to come.
Hope this paint's more of a picture from the male perspective!

My gf and I have a strong relationship that involves countless hours of amazing, sometimes body shaking, sex. As can be see in our sexual diary, that I write, with gf's approval an stimulation, we are both horny and easily sexually aroused. I can and do get hard several times a session, six times in our last session. In addition, I can or have had, as many as 20 dry orgasms and 2-3 wet orgasms in sessions. The issue is that although I may be rock hard, when I enter her or at times when she gives me head, I go soft. Fortunately, as my gf states to me and says in forums, she is sexually satisfied and happy even though I may not stay hard.
Recently we used a cock ring, allowing us to have intercourse and keeping me hard enough to cum strongly insider her for the first time in our relationship.
I don't need and, although she has never said no to me about sex, even after hours, I think she would beg me not to take anything that would increase my sexual energy. Our sexual experience is varied and incredible even though I may not stay hard. For though who physically or emotionally need something to satisfy their partner, safely enjoy what you take. I'll stay with having incredible, mind-blowing sex including multiple orgasms for both my gf and me, even if I'm not that hard.
