To me it's a simple concept: You don't have to agree with a person's beliefs or characteristics but you can't hate a person because of them. I don't think I'll ever understand why so many people fail to adhere to that.

But I heard he is bannished from the NBA this weekend at the All-Star Game. That is a load of crap.
Whatever happened to free speech? Again, I am not standing up for him, but it is free speech and I believe if you listen to the audio, he was asked a question about the situation with the gay basketball player and he said what he thought.

There is free speech. Tim Hardaway is free to say whatever he wants but that doesn't mean there are no consequences to saying certain things. I mean it's not like he got arrested for saying that. A private corporation decided they did not want him representing them anymore based on his comments and I have no issue with that personally.
