But I've never been happier with any other birth control. You don't have to think about it. Just put it in and mark the calender for 4 weeks when you need to change it.

I would highly suggest the Nuvaring. I set an alarm for once a month when I change it, I don't feel it, it's easy, and it's more reliable than pills (just because there is less chance for human error).

There are risks with birth control but they are very minimal. It includes heart disease and strokes but is extremely rare and found to happen in older women. The chemicals just mimick your body's own chemicals. They actually make your body think you are pregnant so you won't release any eggs.
Hope that helped.

I think my gf will be very interested in this.
I wonder if there would be any long term side effects?
