I don’t have any close friends to help me out but I did go through a phase of wondering how great it would be if I did. But I’ve since got past all that and I’m starting to look at things differently. Now I’m thinking; what's the point in just getting it over with? Why just have sex once to say I’ve done it? What will that achieve? I won’t be a virgin anymore but I won’t have an enjoyable sex life either!
Unless your friend is willing to become a regular f*ck buddy you're not going to get enjoyment out of having sex, because you’re going to have to do it a few times before it starts to get good (I imagine...I don't know, I'm a virgin, lol). And then there’s a possibility things are going to get strange between you and your friend. And without being mean, do you want to be known as the person who had to ask a friend to help them loose their V plates?
But if you had an actual boyfriend you’d get that first time experience out of the way with someone who really cares about you and wants to be with you for more than just a free f*ck. And best of all, once your first time is out of the way you get to keep having sex with someone you’re really attracted to and who is crazy about you in return!
I wrote a ‘virgin thread’ a while ago and Megs said to me “You are old enough to find someone (not some teenage hornbag) who is going to be willing to make an unforgettable experience... and teach you lots!!!!” This always stuck in my head and really made me change my attitude about my virginity. You have to admit, that sounds like a lot more fun than just having sex for the sake of saying I’ve done it. (Thank you Megs)
In the end it’s up to you, but that’s just my opinion on the matter…

Don't rush into it. When the time is right and your with the right person, you will know.
