as long as they are not near a nerve its bearable but i had a nerve close to one and its genuinely shattering i feel i have a hole in the side of my head and the pain reaches my collar bone !!

Everyone's wisdom teeth are different. Mine were a piece of cake. I only had two of them out, but they popped out like a cork on a wine bottle.
But if your roots are curved or something weird like that, I understand it can get pretty bad.

Sometimes they start you out on the weak stuff to see if you ask up for basically what your suppose to have. I was started on one of the tylenols and didn't know I could upgrade, but knew others later who insisted on codene from the start and even percocet. What they got you on?
On the other tender topic - greek/anal (which dry is what my wisdom teeth removal felt like). Was offered without asking for it by a girlfriend who had lived in Greece for quite some time. She tried to talk me into it, I turned it down flat. Later after we were done (3 year relationship) I came around.
