My Name is Attalim/Attabuns on here, and I think I can give you some advice, you see I was born with a skin condition called Eczema, this skin condition effects different people in different ways, and because of this condition I often find myself missing skin in areas on my penile tissue, both shaft and head. The missing skin occurs in both patches that are "rubbed raw" style skin loss and patches that are "slice or cut" like.
Yes these hurt like a bitch.
What you have to remember.....
The skin of your penis while in general clean is kept in the same region as some not so clean things. Personally I have found that a little bit of cotton wool and some thickly salted hot water to clean over the affected area is highly effective at keeping infection at bay, I have tried thinks like neosporine and germaline, both are effective but I have found they retard healing or cause additional skin tightening.
The next issue to remember is that things like this can quickly expand and spread, so if you do choose to cover it I recommend not using plasters with sticky tape, but rather some large digit tubie-grip, or tubular bandage and a small patch of medical pad, as this stops the issue of the sticky plaster damaging the edge of the wound and causing spreading of the condition which on your penis which has very soft flexible skin when flaccid is a bitch.
If you get an infection attend your doctor IMMEDIATELY and hang the cost, I have twice had infections in the skin of my penis and trust me they are an F***in bitch, agony beyond belief and weeks of skin shattering each time you get morning wood.
Finally remember that any break in the skin no matter where or how shallow or small the wound heals first by the creation of a protective fibrinogenic "scab" even without blood present, this does not stretch, if you get an erection once this forms you will split the edges. You can reduce the chance of this by after the unstretching scab forms gently applying a strong moisturiser like Bio-oil, or wheatgerm gel (one that is medically safe for broken skin).
DO NOT!! pull off the dry skin scab thinking it will be more flexible after, let the scab come off on its own, even when the scab is 90% hanging off do not be tempted to pull off that last 10% because this will leave an opening that needs to be treated.
Your new healthy skin will be somewhat less flexible than your old skin once healed, moisturiser and some gentle stretching through erection and gentle sexual/masturbation play will help alleviate this, but expect some tension and discomfort in the associated area the first few times you get an erection.

In the future try using some lubes or a little baby oil.
When you go for a bath you could also put in a small amount of sea salt, this will speed up the repair, about 3 tea spoons of salt into your bath.

Ive rubbed my hubby cock raw a few times, some have resulted in blood blisters and others were just rubbed raw.
He just used an antibacterial soap in the shower for a week or so after and we just refrained from having sex until it was healed.
